Great thanks to our many supporters! Working in partnership with organizations like Hope Health Action and Konbit Sante: Cap-Haitien Health Partnership we have been able to provide essential support by TACKLING CHOLERA ON TWO FRONTS. Alongside the extensive re-building that is required in parts of Haiti, the danger of a cholera resurgence is real and should be a priority concern for health institutions. Cholera has claimed many thousands of lives since the 2010 earthquake so we are taking this threat seriously and focusing our relief efforts on minimizing the spread of this disease. Hurricane Matthew

There has been much talk today regarding the impact of Hurricane Matthew on the island of Haiti. We have heard first hand reports from those who have been directly effected, and there will be more rain and devastation in the coming hours. We are asking all of our supporters to join us in prayer for our friends and partners in Haiti, as well as the countless number of people who have lost homes, supplies and unfortunately, loved ones during this event. We did receive some encouraging news today from Rhoda, the Volunteer Coordinator at HHA. Return to Haiti

I am always excited to step off the plane in Haiti. The sights, smells & sound - nothing can compare to the experience.  This trip has already been an amazing time of meeting new friends & visiting with old friends, and it's been particularly good to see the change & progress that have happened since my last trip. Rhoda met us at the airport & has been with us every step of the way. She is a fantastic Volunteer Coordinator & has made things at the Volunteer Village very comfortable for us and our team of 12 that was here for a week! They were made to feel welcome & like family.
